Lea's Introduction (Blog Post 6)

My name is Lea, and I am a member of the production team.

While developing this story with the group I was excited to make a film with not only creative beauty but one that has meaning and impact on today's society.

I have always been amazed by people who have the ability to speak several different languages as I have only ever been able to speak one language fluently which is English. I have tried many times to learn another language as my Nan is from Hungary and I always wished she had taught me the language when I was younger as now I find it very difficult to do so.

Speaking to Darleen about her own personal experiences made me want to get this important message out about the internal struggle people feel when they can't communicate with the world because of a language barrier and to show the audience to be patient if they see someone struggling and try to help them if they can.

I am looking forward to being very creative with this project and representing the internal struggle through an expressive dance sequence.

I am very excited to work with this group of talented individuals and can't wait to see the finished result.
